St. Patrick's Day cookies

My boys LOVE to help in the kitchen. I am so glad that they like to help me. This past week-end me & Rosty made a homemade pound cake. He added all the ingredients & I showed him how to use the stand mixer.
He's also a good sausage ball roller. Of course, he's a good sausage ball eater too. I actually took out a pack of sausage today so I will be recruiting his help for that too.
Charlie likes to help too but he does have the attention of a 3-year old so he usually enjoys eating what me & Rosty have made!
As I was looking through a cookbook last week-end I saw a recipe for pistachio nut cookies. I thought these would be perfect green cookies for St. Patrick's Day. I did omit the pecans but next time we'll probably add them anyway
Here is our green dough

Too cute not to post

I love to take pictures of the boys when they are sleeping because they are so sweet & innocent.
In this picture they really look a lot alike too!
